Our Mission

Formed with the certainty that all people have the right to good health, aspirations and self-worth, Building Solid Foundations is working to avail these basic needs to people in rural Ghana with a goal and determination to provide solid foundations in Public Health and Economic Development.
 
BUILDING SOLID FOUNDATIONS Inc., was established in York County PA in May 2003 as a non profit 501(c) (3) charitable organization to benefit rural Ghana. The name BUILDING SOLID FOUNDATIONS INC was chosen to give lasting focus to our commitment to supporting the basic building blocks of economic development.

BUILDING SOLID FOUNDATIONS INC., is committed to providing opportunities to the poorest of Ghana’s population by creating a metamorphic difference in how non-profit organizations operate in Ghana. To accomplish this we believe we need to provide basic elements that economic development is built up on:

• access to clean water
• agriculture
• basic primary and secondary education
• healthcare
